Watertown - Gladys M. Canell, 80, of Curtis Apartments, Watertown, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Mrs. Canell was a native of Evans Mills. She had lived in Watertown since 1980 and had been living in Syracuse with her daughter for the past few weeks. Her husband, Robert, died in 1986. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Watertown. Surviving are four daughters, Elaine Kelly of Concord, Calif., Helen Hand of Utica, Beatrice DiGeronimo of Harrison, Ark., and Gail Feathers of Syracuse; a step-son, Ronald of Governeur; one brother, Robert Fraley of Watertown; one sister, Marion Rockwood of Castle Creek; two nieces; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home in Evans Mills. Burial will be Sanford Corners Cemetery, Calcium. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
