Carl Ellwood Sixbury was married to Bernice Guiter (sp?) I didn't see it on the web site, but I committed that one to memory. Although my father's parents passed away before I was born, I had seen their name enough times to recall what it was. Of course as soon as I say that I was trying to recall her first name. :-)

Malinda Ellwood ( I had heard that the Sixbury's were poor simple people and that the Ellwood family was bloody rich. In my verbage. )
I also recall that the Sixbury family basically started out in New York and then move to the Illinois / Iowa area and then spread from there. A while back I came across a Sixbury living in Michigan that was supposedly a 4th generation Sixbury to live in the same Sixbury Farm house. I have to make a point to see that some day.

I was looking on the Internet. Not sure why, but trying to remember my lineage was killing me (that and I know I have no time in the evening.) so I thought I would take a quick look / reminder of my lineage. I just now came back to this point because I don't know if I totally trust the Internet compared to what I have at home, but I will have to cross-reference my Dad's original family tree that he has had from ever and ever. :-)
There is me, plus two brothers Glenn and Stevan. Our father Robert Sixbury, the following list will show us then followed by each others'

This next one I wonder about, because ironically my dad had a family tree chart and it went as far as Joseph and didn't go beyond that.
There has been some questions about the relationship going from Joseph to Manasse Sixberry ??? Do you know? I think Cheryl Sigsbee had traced the link from Joseph to Manasse, but I also heard that you may not be able to for sure verify that connection. I haven't ever gotten into Genealogy enough to really know how you go about verifying information.
After Joseph, the Internet shows Manasse Mans Sixberry
I don't see anyone beyond Manasse listed, but it shows his children as Nellie, Sally, and Joseph
