    ANTHONY WEBERT, 64, DIES
    OF PNEUMONIA IN HOSPITAL

    Anthony Webert, 64, retired farmer of 809 Bronson street, died of pneumonia at 11:20 Sunday night in the Mercy hospital, where he had been a patient since March 31. Death followed an illness of six weeks.
    Mr. Webert sold his farm in the town of Hounsfield near Brownville last fall and came to this city to live about three months ago.
    He was born in Germany, April 11, 1875, a son of the late Philip and Elizabeth Steinmueler Webert. He came to this country with his mother about 53 years ago, his father having died in Germany, and the family lived first in the town of Clayton.
    Mr. Webert was employed on various farms. Later, he owned and operated a farm near Evans Mills and finally in the town of Hounsfield.
    His wife, the former Miss Eva Biggers, died about 30 years ago near Evans Mills.
    Surviving him are a son, Walter Webert, city; three grandchildren; a brother and four sisters, Frank Webert, Mrs. Anna W. Roubie, Mrs. John (Barbara) Schoeb and Miss Caroline Webert, city, and Mrs. Elizabeth Schaer, Alhambra, Calif.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a. m. from the home, 809 Bronson street, and at 9:30 in the Holy Family church. Burial will be made in.Glenwood cemetery.
