      Know all men by these presents that we Mary Sixbury, John Sixbury, John Linman and Ketey Linman of the Town of Amsterdam and in the County of Montgomery the representatives and heirs at law of Joseph Baley and William Sixbury, Deceased, late soldiers in the army of the United States of America for during the War against Grate Britton and served in the New york line of the American army and in the First Regiment of the said State of New York for during the said war as may more fully appear by the rolls, records, and returns, of the said regiment in the office of the secretary of the said state of New York that the said Joseph Baley and William Sixbury by virtue of their services in the said American Army and in the first New York Regiments are entitled to Bounty and Gratuity lands and by the Records in the office of the Secretary of the State of New York it doth appear that the said Joseph Baley for his services in the army and Regiment as aforesaid is entitled to lot Number sixty seven in the Town of Fabius in the County of Onondaga in the state of New York and that letters patent hath been granted to him the said Joseph Baley for and of said Lot Number sixty seven and that letters patent hath also been granted to the above named William Sixbury of Lot Number thirty six in the Town of Galen in the said County of Onondaga & Cayuga being the twenty seventh town in the military lands granted and Ballotted to the late officers and soldiers which served in the said Continental army & in the New York Regients aforesaid. Now know ye that we Mary Sixbury, John Sixbury, John Linman and Ketey Linman for and consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to us in hand paid by John Vedder of the town of Amsterdam in the County of Montgomery and State of New York yoman the receipt of which we do hereby acknowledged and by these presents and for the aforesaid consideration of two hundred dollars to us in hand paid we do hearby give grant bargain sell transfer covenant release convey and confirm to him the said John Vedder his heirs and assigns forever all and singular the whole right right and title of the above said Joseph Baley and William Sixbury of and into the said two lots of lands ballotted and granted to them being number sixty seven in Fabius to Joseph Baley and Lot Number thirty six in Galen to William Sixbury together with all the priveledges and appurtenances to the said two rights and lots belonging to him the said John Vedder his heirs and assigns forever To have and to hold to him the said John Vedder his heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use benefit and behoof forever and we the said Mary Sixbury, John Sixbury, John Linman and Ketey Linman in our capacity being the only and legal heirs at law of the said Joseph Baley and William Sixbury do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said John Vedder his heirs and assigns to warrant secure and defend the above granted and bargained two rights and lots of land as above described against all lawfull and legal demands and claims of all persons claiming from by or under us and that we have good right full power and lawfull authority to covenant grant bargain sell convey and confirm in manner and form above said and described.
      In witness whereof we and each of us have hereunto set our hands and seals this third day of October one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine.
