It appears that the person creating this list may have made an error by listing Mary Harris (age 23) again after John Biggers. The check marks next to her name might indicate that her name was inadvetently listed twice. So I am assuming he was travelling with his brother-in-law (Samuel Harris). This would coincide with the fact that he did not appear in the 1841 census. Fanny Harris (John's wife) and the children were listed, but not John. There was another John Biggers listed (age 70) in the 1841 census with this same family.
