      Brownville Couple 50 Years Wed
      Mr. and Mrs. Forest E. Sixbury, Brownville, celebrated thier 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Feb 1., with a reception given by their children at the home of their daughter, Mrs. William T. Zimmerman, 329 William Street.
      Mr. Sixbury, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sixbury, Watertown and Evans Mills, and Ileen Bisnett, Watertown, were married Feb. 2, 1920, in the Congregational Church Parsonage with Roy Schofield and Maude Bisnett, sister of the bride, as attendants.
      Mr. Sixbury was employed in the composing room of the old Watertown Daily Standard for 14 years. The couple moved to Ogdensburg in 1933 where Mr. Sixbury served as special game protector until May 1938, when he was appointed state game protector at Parishville. He was appointed assistant district game protector in 1942, and was promoted to district game protector in 1945, when the couple moved to Glens Falls. He served as deputy game warden from 1955 to 1957, when he resigned to take over ownership of the Crescent Hotel, Chaumont.
      The couple operated the hotel until 1963 when they moved to Brownville. Since then Mr. Sixbury has been a guard with the O'Neil Detedtive Agency at the St. Regis Paper Co., Deferiet.
      Mr. and Mrs. Sixbury have two children, Mrs. William T. (Alberta) Zimmerman, 329 William St., Ronald J., East Syracuse, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
