She was born at Winterbourne in 1799 and married at Kempsey, Worcs. in 1835 her first cousin, Sidney Chavasse, wine merchant of Barbados, Lichfield and Birmingham. They had three children. Charlotte died at Kempsey in 1886.

      Charlotte Chavasse was born on 25 January 1773.1 She was the daughter of William Chavasse and Sarah Stephens.2 She married Richard Steede on 19 June 1795.1 She died on 10 June 1839 at age 66.1
      From 19 June 1795, her married name became Steede.

      Richard Steede married Charlotte Chavasse, daughter of William Chavasse and Sarah Stephens, on 19 June 1795.1 He died in 1802, off the Cape.1
      He was a surgeon.1 He had three daughters.1
