8. - The remains of William Fraley, who died in a Rochester hospital, Wednesday, were brought to Rosiere for burial in the family plot Saturday. The funeral will be Friday with a prayer service at Cummings funeral home, Clayton, at 9:30 a.m. and a requiem mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Freinds may call at the funeral home Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr Fraley is survived by his wife, Grace Joles Fraley; three children, Mrs. Frank (Monica) Down, Los Angeles, Calif.; Sister Mildreda (Vera Fraley) of the St. Lawrence convent, Montreal, and Mrs. Harold J. She died some years after the marriage. There were no children. On July 23, 1931, he married Grace Joles in St. Mary's church, Clayton.
For 15 years Mr. Fraley operated a livery stable here. After that he worked as a carenter up until six years ago when he became ill. For the last two years he had been confined to his home.
He was a past member of the Knights of Columbus.

MRS. MILFORD FRALEY DIES AT CLAYTON

Mrs. Mildred S. Fraley, aged 47 years, wife of Milford Fraley, died at her home in Clayton Monday evening at 6:30. She had been in poor health for six months.
Mrs. Fraley was born in Rosiere, October 9, 1876, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cornaire. In 1901 she was married in that village to Mr. Fraley and they moved to Clayton in 1905. She was a memeber of St. Mary's church.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Fraley is survived by her mother and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Down, of Los Angeles, and the Misses Vera and Frances Fraley, of Clayton. She also leaves eight brothers and four sisters, Eugene Cornaire, of Evans Mills; Joseph, of Cape Vincent; Mildred, of Paris, N.Y., Clarence and Frank, of Rosiere; Morris, of Great Bend; Edward, of Three Mile Bay, and William, of North Syracuse; Miss Rachael Cornaire, of Watertown; Mrs. Albert Branch, of Rosiere; Miss Evelyn Corniaire, of Long Island, and Miss Leona, of Rosiere.
The funeral was held from St. Mary's church, Clayton, Thursday morning at 9:30, Burial was made in St. Mary's cemetary.

SUDDEN DEATH OF ROSIERE FARMER
Peter Fraley, 72, Expires From Heart Failure Soon After Retiring Sunday Night.

Rosiere, May 12. - Peter Fraley, a retired farmer aged 72 years, who lived on the old homestead farm on the Mill road about a mile and a half from this village, died suddenly about about 9:45 Sunday evening at his home from an attack of heart failure. Mr. Fraley had retired to bed about 9 in his usual health, but was soon after taken ill and died within a very short time, and before a doctor could reach his bedside.
The deceased was born on the farm where he died, and had spent his entire life there. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic church at Rosiere and of the Cape Vincent Grange.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julia Adams Fraley, and six sons and three daughters, George Fraley, Watertown; Frank, Christopher and William Fraley, Rosiere; Milford Fraley, Clayton; Clarence Fraley, who is serving overseas, and Mrs. John Granger and Mrs. Raymond Constance, of Rosiere and Miss Ella Fraley of Watertown.
The funeral arrangements are incomplete, pending a message from an absent member of the family.

(Frances) Fergusun, Clayton; two step-daughters, Mrs. Howard (Minnie) Burn, Oswego; and Mrs. George (Henrietta) Brown, Syracuse; three brothers, Christpher, Evans Mills; Clarence, Bayonne, N.J., and Frank of Cape Vincent; and one sister, Mrs. Raymond (Mae) Constance of Rosiere.
He was born May 29, 1879, at Rosiere, the son of Peter and Julia Adams Fraley. He was educated at Rosiere. Mr. Fraley was twice married. His first wife was MIldred Cornair, whom he wed in 1902. She died some years after the marriage. There were no children. On July 23, 1931, he married Grace Joles in St. Mary's church, Clayton.
For 15 years Mr. Fraley operated a livery stable here. After that he worked as a carenter up until six years ago when he became ill. For the last two years he had been confined to his home.
He was a past member of the Knights of Columbus.

Clayton, July 23 - Mrs. Grace Fraley, 74, of 330 James Street, widow of Milfred P. Fraley, died Friday night at the Edward John Noble hospital, Alexandria Bay. She had been in poor health 20 years, and following a stroke, was admitted July 2 to Edward John Noble hospital, where she was a patient until her death.
The funeral will be Monday afternoon at 2 at the Cummings funeral home, Clayton, with Rev. Russell E. Little, pastor of Clayton Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Clayton cemetery. Rosiere, May 18.- Mrs. Julia Adams Fraley, 89, widow of Peter Fraley, died at 9:30 Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Granger, with whom she resided.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Tuesday morningat the Granger home and at 9 at the St. Vincent de Paul church, of which Mrs. Fraley was a member. Rev. Michael Kelley will officiate and burial will be made in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Fraley was born June 8, 1852 in Cape Vincent, a daughter of Christopher and Barbara Reff Adams. She was married to Peter Fraley Jan. 23, 1872 at Rosiere. The couple lived on a farm near here. Mr. Fraley died May 11, 1919. Mrs Fraley lived with her daughter for about a year before her death.
Survivors are: three daughters, Mrs. John (Melinda) Granger and Mrs. Ray (Mae) Constance, both of this village; and Miss Ella Fraley of Ogdensburg; five sons, Frank Fraley of Cape Vincent; Milford, Clayton; Christopher, Evans Mills; William, Wayland; and Clarence, Bayonne, N.J.; 14 grandchildren, a large number of great-grandchildren, one brother, George Adams of Ludington, Mich., and a sister, also of Ludington.

MRS. MILFORD FRALEY DIES AT CLAYTON

Mrs. Mildred S. Fraley, aged 47 years, wife of Milford Fraley, died at her home in Clayton Monday evening at 6:30. She had been in poor health for six months.
Mrs. Fraley was born in Rosiere, October 9, 1876, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cornaire. In 1901 she was married in that village to Mr. Fraley and they moved to Clayton in 1905. She was a memeber of St. Mary's church.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Fraley is survived by her mother and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Down, of Los Angeles, and the Misses Vera and Frances Fraley, of Clayton. She also leaves eight brothers and four sisters, Eugene Cornaire, of Evans Mills; Joseph, of Cape Vincent; Mildred, of Paris, N.Y., Clarence and Frank, of Rosiere; Morris, of Great Bend; Edward, of Three Mile Bay, and William, of North Syracuse; Miss Rachael Cornaire, of Watertown; Mrs. Albert Branch, of Rosiere; Miss Evelyn Corniaire, of Long Island, and Miss Leona, of Rosiere.
The funeral was held from St. Mary's church, Clayton, Thursday morning at 9:30, Burial was made in St. Mary's cemetary.
