      At some point the name Bichet was changed to Biche. My grandfather, Floyd spelled his name Biche as his brothers did also. Some of the family names have been spelled Bichet,from when Claude Francois arrived to Besha, to Bisha to Biche. There is evidence of this in what is basically known as the family cemetery, St. Mary's in Evans Mills NY. There are also brothers, Louis buried in the St. Pauls cemetery in Belfort, New York and others in St. Stephens cemetery in Croghan, New York. My grandfather, Floy and wife Kathryn are buried in the Lowville Rural Cemetery, Lowville New York. This is submitted by Kelly Balash of Lowville, grandaughter of Floyd Biche.
