      Jacob-, William1), born Sept. 17, 1750; died 1837; married Dec.
      3, 1775, in New Hartford, Connecticut, Candace Smith. He
      removed from Middletown, Conn., to Vermont, before 1800,
      and later, to Jefferson Co., N. Y. He served in the Revolution.
