Sorry I can't help you. My cousin, Jackie Fraley Kucharski and her husband stayed with us for a few days on their way down to the Keys. She brought some old pictures with her. On the back of the picture it said "Fraley Farm 1933". There is a woman standing beside my grandmother Genevieve Fraley and Jackie told me it was Aunt Madeline. She said every time their Family would drive to Cape Vincent from Ohio to visit Gram & Gramps, they would stay at Fraley's Cabins in Clayton NY with Aunt Madeline. They didn' stay in a cabin but in Aunt Madeline's house. I guess she rented out rooms in her house also. In a letter that my Aunt Genevieve sent to me in 1973 regarding ancestry, she said Christopher Fraley married Maddie Besche. I know she misspelled her last name but I thought she could perhaps be your g-grandmother. I've sent the picture to my brother in Michigan who is 13 years older then me and my sister in CA who is 10 years older then me and asked them if they knew the people in the picure. I'll let you know what I find out. There are also a man in a straw hat and an old couple in the picture and also a blond woman. There are pictures of my Price cousins ranging in age from 9 to 2.

Sorry I can't give you more info Regards, now

    Hi.
As you know, I don't know who all of the people in this picture are. Maybe you will recognize someone, The only thing that's written on the back of the picture is "Fraley Farm 1933".I think some of the adults might be: from L to R Edward Fraley 25 yrs. old, Joseph Price, husband of Genevieve Fraley, Genevieve Fraley, wife of Francis (Frank) Fraley, Aunt Madeline, Blond woman? man in straw hat? Old woman & man?

all of the kids are children of Joe Price and Genevieve Fraley Price: L tp R Beatrice Price age 7. Richard Price age 9, Francis Price, age 8. George Price, age 6, and the little guy in the front is Tommy Price, age 2.

Do you recognize any of the people from your family? I'll give you whatever info I get from my brother & sister,

    Regards,
    Phyl Shaw

Sorry, I sent it as high as my printer will go. It was sent at 300 dpi. I wonder if one of the people in the picture is you g-grandmother because my Aunt tole me that Christopher Fraley married Maddie Beche. Maybe her baptismal name was Madeline. Sorry I can't be of more help. I do have a picture of Francis "Frank" Fraley and Genevieve Stumpf on their wedding day June 18, 1902. I'm having it restored so when I get it back if you would like a copy, I'll be glad to send it to you.

    Dear Mr. Buckley:

I am hoping you can help me. I am trying to locate a marriage certificate or record for my Great-Grandfather (Christopher E. Fraley) and my Great-Grandmother (Mary L. Besha). They were apparently married in 1908 in Carthage, NY. I have previously written to the Carthage Village Clerk (see my previous letter below) and I have also spoken to the Town of Wilna clerk and both sources are unable to locate any such record.

Please refer to the newspaper article below for more details.

Thanks and have a great day!

    Dear Linda Wier:

On September 18, I spoke with Laura Prievo (Carthage Village Historian) about obtaining a marriage certificate for my great grandfather and great grandmother, Christopher Fraley and Mary Besha. She referred me to you for more information.
The only information I have about their marriage was taken from the following obituary in a newspaper:

"C. E. Fraley Rites Set Evans Mills - The funeral for Christopher E. Fraley, 82, who died Thursday morning in the Jefferson county hospital, Watertown, will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the Frederick Brothers funeral home, and at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's church, with Rev. John F. Pendergast, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul's cemetery, Rosiere. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening. Mr. Fraley was born in Rosiere, May 1, 1884, a son of Peter and Julia Adams Fraley. He was married to Mary Beasha, Copenhagen, in 1908 in Carthage. The couple lived in Rosiere where they operated a farm until 1923 when they moved to Evans Mills. Mr. Fraley was employed by the Borden company and operated a farm until 1940, when it was taken over by Camp Drum. Mrs. Fraley died Aug. 12, 1937."

So, apparently, they were married in Carthage in 1908.

Does your office have a copy of the marriage record or marriage certificate? If so, I will happily send a check for the cost of copies and postage for mailing.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hi again,

I've been trying to find pictures of Peter Fraley and his wife Julia Adams Fraley, but haven't had much luck. Most of the people that I think would have pictures are dead and their survivors can't find any pictures. I've questioned all my brothers and sisters and can't find any pictures. I'm sure someone sonewhere has some if I can only find them. I have lots of stories and pictures of Francis Fraley and his 4 children that I'll share with you when I get my ducks in a row.

Letr me know what you think of my assessment of the relationships on the immigration list.

    Have a great day.
