    To whom it may concern,

My first cousin 3 times removed (Francis Xavier McKenny) was a professor and priest who taught at St. Charles College.
Below is a short biography of him (recently purchased from Marquis WhosWho):

    First Name:
    Francis Xavier
    Last Name:
    Mckenny
    Occupation:
    college pres.
    Born:

Son of John and Sophia (Woods) M.; A.B., St. Mary's Sem., Baltimore, 1883, A.M., 1884; grad. Sem. St. Sulpice, Paris, France, 1888. Ordained priest R.C. Ch., 1888; prof. 1890-1905, pres. since Sept., 1905, St. Charles' Coll. Address: Catonsville, Md.

I would like to find out the following information:

Firstly, (and most important) - The specific birthplace (in Ireland) of his parents: John B. Mckenny and Sophia Woods Might some of the Catholic Church records for Francis Xavier McKenny contain this information?

Secondly, - Any additional information on Francis Xavier McKenny that you may have.

I understand that your location may not have further details. If that is the case, please provide a referral to other locations and individuals who may be able to shed some light on the answers.

    Sincerely,

    Paul F. Kelly
