(Research):12/22/2012 Ordered microfilm for obit. for Samuel Stage.

    ----------------------------------
Since Samuel Stage was purportedly born in 1828 per the 1850 and 1860 censuses, and since William Stage and Magdalene Reber did not marry until 1836, it is likely that Samuel Stage was a child from a previous marriage of William.

See 1860 census: William Stage and son? Samuel Stage (head).
If father son relationship is true, then Lawrence F. Athy Jr.'s death date for William Stage is wrong. He claims William died in 1820, but William appears in the 1860 Census with his son Samuel? Relationship is unclear?

    See:
    http://boards.ancestrylibrary.com/surnames.stage/173.1/mb.ashx

Obituary for Samuel (his son) will be instrumental in identifying relationships in this family.

    Notes:
